Bilstein's sales offices were being flooded with calls and faxes daily. The phone lines could not differentiate between a sales order call versus one that was requesting a tracking number on a shipment. Having to answer all the calls put a tremendous burden on the sales team to be able to deliver timely service.

They needed an online solution that was both comprehensive and could integrate with their existing business system.

The most important achievement of the new Bilstein website, however, is that it serves as a portal for their customers to log on and be able to view their own contract pricing on parts, check stock at all the Bilstein warehouses, build and send purchase orders online, and track order history and item shipping status.
